The page displaying companies associated with the business registration service is currently visually unappealing and its information architecture is confusing. This results in a poor user experience and may cause users to overlook important information about the associated companies. The University needs to improve the visual style of the site and reorganize its information architecture to create a better user experience.
Identify users' weaknesses, motivations, and behaviors when using the page that displays partner companies and offer recommendations for improving the visual style and information architecture.
The proposal consists of eliminating the different subpages that made up the section, as they were redundant and caused confusion for people consulting the data. It is proposed to create a system of tags with the different sectors of the associated companies, together with a system of files showing the key data of the companies (logo, name, sector) and a filtering system to help visitors find the information they want.
This project was developed during my internship as a Graphic Designer at UOC. Despite this, the UI proposal shown here was not implemented, but the information architecture was simplified as proposed in the case study.
